eGeneration, a leading systems integration and software solutions company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Midland Bank to implement Fortinet based Global Server Load Balancer (GSLB) solution. This collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery across Midland Bank by improving traffic management and disaster recovery capabilities.
Under this engagement, eGeneration will implement, commission, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the GSLB solution to improve service availability and resilience across the bank’s data centers. The solution enables intelligent traffic distribution, automated failover, and centralized visibility, ensuring stable and uninterrupted access to critical digital services even during system disruptions or planned maintenance windows.
As a leading financial institution, Midland Bank serves a large customer base through multiple digital channels, including online banking, mobile banking, APIs, and internal business applications. With increasing transaction volumes and rising expectations for always-on services, the bank prioritized a robust architecture capable of maintaining availability during site-level disruptions.
To address these requirements, eGeneration is deploying an enterprise-grade GSLB solution that intelligently distributes traffic across multiple sites using automated, policy-driven decision-making. The solution supports Midland Bank’s business continuity objectives and strengthens its digital banking ecosystem ensuring some of the key services- Intelligent traffic steering based on health status, site availability, and defined routing policies, Automated failover and recovery to reduce manual intervention during incidents, Service monitoring and health checks aligned with the bank’s critical application requirements, Centralized administration and reporting to support operations and governance & Alignment with business continuity objectives to support a stable digital banking experience
